The first project I worked on with Nick. He asked me to design a football kit for the match. It resulted in a custom football badge that honoured the artists and their favourite team. I ended up designing a scarf, banners, stickers and helping design a pitch deck. That is for Fabyl’s eyes and the clients only though!

Ice cream illustration for Dylan, poster, menu and stickers for ice cream tubs for her pop up ice cream shop using colours from her single release photography.
Client: Fabyl
Objective: To provide creative artworking and illustrative support that aligns with Fabyl’s vision, while celebrating their ownership of ideas and the collaborative spirit of our partnership.
From our very first conversation, I knew working with Fabyl would be a joy. Nick, the founder and director, greeted me with the phrase, “You answered the Bat signal”—and right then, I felt an instant connection. Fabyl is a creative agency with a bold, innovative approach, and it’s been an absolute privilege to collaborate with them on a range of projects.
My role has been to bring their ideas to life through creative artworking and illustration, ensuring their vision remains at the forefront of every piece. While the rights to the concepts remain with Fabyl (as they should), my contribution lies in translating those ideas into polished, professional designs that resonate with their clients.
One of the highlights of this collaboration has been the mutual appreciation we share for each other’s work. I keep a folder of client comments to boost my confidence on tough days, and Nick’s words still stand out: “You’re really rather good eh what?” Coming from someone whose creativity I deeply admire, this compliment means the world.
Below is a selection of projects we’ve worked on together. If you haven’t already, check out Fabyl’s incredible work at www.fabyl.co.uk
